Rate: $18-$20/hour, based on experience and availability, time and a half pay on
Holidays

Festival Hours: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Working Hours: 3:30 pm - 10:15 pm

Scheduled Dates to Open: 09/21/2023 - 11/5/2023, operate daily, 46 operation days
Location: Freehold Raceway Mall, 3710 US-9, Freehold, NJ 07728 (Parking lot near Lord &
Taylor)

AVAILABLE POSITIONS*

Admissions/Ticket Booth Staff:
● Greeting and welcoming guests and answering any questions they have
● Checking guests in and making sure the tickets are valid
● Managing the flow of guests into and out of the event venue
● Resolving any issues or conflicts related to admission
● Assisting with crowd control as necessary
● Providing information and directing guests to different areas of the venue ●
Communicating with event organizers and other staff as needed ● Maintaining
a professional and friendly demeanor at all times and positively representing
the event and company
● Keeping event spaces clean and presentable
● Other duties as assigned by the Event Manager

Ride Attendant:
● Scanning ride tickets and making sure the tickets are valid
● Operating and monitoring ride equipment
● Ensuring that riders meet the height and safety requirements for each ride ●
Providing clear instructions to riders about the ride's operation and safety rules ●
Assisting riders with boarding and exiting the ride
● Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the ride and surrounding areas
● Controlling the flow of guests
● Ensuring that all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
● Communicating with event organizers and other staff as needed ● Other
duties as assigned by the Event Manager

Qualifications:
● Valid ID to work in the U.S.
● Have event staff, retail or related experience
● Be aware you are representing the LuminoCity brand, which includes knowing
the basics of the company/event details
● Team player, quick thinker with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly
● Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortable working outside
● Be fluent in English

● Have excellent customer service skills
● Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25 pounds
● Wear appropriate outdoor attire, including visible badge and
vest ● Show up for mandatory pre-event training
● Commit to working at least 35 of the 46 event days.
● Be able to operate basic technology
● Be professional, punctual, hardworking, extroverted, and flexible

Managers will take into consideration your prior experience and performance when
assigning roles.
